The Writers’ Federation of Nova Scotia organized a presentation of commissioned works by Mi’kmaw poets, including: Tiffany Morris, Danica Roache and Raymond Sewell, in celebration of Rita Joe. Emceed by Rebecca Thomas, in front of a live audience of Indigenous students from schools in Kjipuktuk (Halifax, NS) at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
